World-Class Care with Heart

Blood and Marrow Transplantation

The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program is located at the Institute for Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders. Established in 1990, it is the only pediatric stem cell transplant program in the state of New Jersey. Our program has been approved by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy since 1998. The program performs autologous (using the patient’s own blood) and allogeneic (using a separate donor) transplants. Diseases we treat include malignant diseases, non-malignant hematologic diseases, immunodeficiency, and metabolic disorders.
  • Our Primary Immunodeficiency and Bone Marrow Failure Clinics are available to diagnose
and treat patients with these rare pediatric diseases.
